A weak circulation in the mona channel?

If you look closely at this radar loop you may see a hint of a twist in the clouds between the Dominincan Republic and Puerto Rico.Is it my imagination seeing things or someone else see it too?

Ya, I saw a couple others talking about this a lil bit ago.. I dont see it.. Not at all.. what am i missing??

Well maybe it has moved from the mona channel to the eastern portion of the Dominican Republic.

I checked it out too! Al I could find was some storms building S. That may be what looked like a spin to some. I know I have thought that before and then checked back later and found out I was either building or collapsing storms making it look that way.

Something is going on there I can say but maybe the radar can't catch it as it may be gone into the east Dominican Republic.

It's definitely trying to get itself together Luis....looks better organized than last night.

With the 12z GFS now progging this WNW/NW into the Bahamas...then west across southern Florida into the eastern GOM over Labor Day weekend, folks in Florida should keep a very close eye on it -- the GFS is depicting a weak system crossing SoFla...but with sea surface temps as warm as they are in that area, this could come up to T.S. and hurricane intensity in a hurry.
