Fabian is deepening in the pressure and the models start at 973 mbs cat 2 status and 85kts.

Intensity models are at odds on 94L. DSHP only make it a minimal tropical storm. SHIPS brings it up to 74kts.

Tip, SHIPS doesn't see land....DSHPS does. Notice both are the same until the point where the forecast plot center reaches land. So DSHPS applies to intensity when land interaction is involved.
