Also, to see if sal is going to be a factor, you can go here at http://www.nwhhc.com/SAL/ to see the SSMI images that I have egenerated of the total precipitable water for the Atlantic basin (yesterdays will be up soon)

New SAL products are now up

Speaking of that, there does not appear to be any sal anywhere near isabel; thus, can we say major #2?

That's what I'm thinking Derek, especially if Isabel tracks a bit south of where Fabian went. I'm not sure how badly upwelled the waters are behind Fabian, but I remember Danielle in 1998 had a hard time intensifying significantly because of Bonnie's wake.
