Juan sooner rather than later?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Oh boy this is what we were waiting for to see in the atlantic as the peak day nears on the 10th.And some in the boards around were going to give up the rest of the season. :)

I think so. From that IR image posted in another thread it looks like he is organizing. Isabel already has a spin evident on imagery and I wouldn't be surprised to find it on Juan soon too.

Would'nt the proxsimity (sp) have an adverse affect on both of the systems.. or are they far enough apart now?

I think they're far enough apart, but it will be interesting if future Juan (if it becomes that first) goes faster than Isabel and a Fujiwhara takes place.

No they are as far as 900 miles apart so no problem.

Ok.. I just took a look at Satelight and they do seem far enough apart.. ^^" Isabel was further along then I thought. Fujiwhara's are rare in the Atlantic right?

That is called when 2 systems are close together and begin to interact one with another.

Not as rare in the Western Pacific where an average season has a minimum of 25 tropical storms
