or are the extreme southern Bahamas getting some Isabels' force.. They look like they are just outer cloud patterns from her.. but something else makes me think they are rain bands...

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

J/K

Even if it did come, i am not too worried. (but still worried)
My Great Grandpa was a building inspector down here in miami, and he wrote the FIRST "hurricane building code" in the world and it was adopted by the majority of the East coast and GOM among a lot of other places in the US and World, and of course it has been changed a lot since, but he was its origin.

http://www.ci.miami-beach.fl.us/newcity/press/press01/pr042001.htm

The rest of my family lives on the beaches in south fla, so we decided to build inland for a Hurricane house. Durring Andrew we had ~50 people at our house... took 5 years to build. Built well above code, and the hurricane shutters we have are the strongest possible (Re-done them completely three times!).

My Grandfather past away this year, but before he did he told me stories about his father, and here is one quick interesting one:

He was inspecting Al Capone's new house and when he went to leave he found $20,000 in his jacket and one of the henchmen told him that everything was fine... My grandpa was always really proud of this part... his dad took the money and put it down on the table and walked out.

I am real proud of my family, and miss my grandpa. People back then were generally much better people than what we have become today (especially in south fla)

Thought ya'll history buffs my find this interesting... there is a plaque in miami beach's city hall with his picture and story if you all are ever over there... there are some other really interesting plaque's there too!
