Will December have any named storms?

Those are rare in December, since most storms come from previously extratropical systems that were already at storm or hurricane intensity.

I opted for "no". Not because 2024 won't give it a try because I think she'll try to "give it a go". After Sara though, I'm just thinking that 'ol Mother Nature is beat and ready for a little vacay (for the record, she can find some S. Hemisphere destination to go Snowbird to - she's NOT welcome here in Florida
)

That monster cold front coming is making me think that the season is likely over. I voted no. If something does form, it will likely be an extratropical storm in the central Atlantic though occasionally a Caribbean storm will form.
