Is it my imagination or does this system seem to be heading more north on recent radar loop? Also appears to be gaining strength more rapidly http://www.erh.noaa.gov/radar/latest/DS ... pgua.shtml

It's probably neither a north movement or your imagination. Looking at the satellite loop it looks like the strongest convective burst is on the eastern side of the center of circulation...and the circulation itself is a little asymmetrical with a big burst rotating from south to north on it's way around.
This is probably what you are seeing in the radar return...which looks like northward movement...but is really just a cell rotating around the center of the system. The entire envelope still appears to be moving westward in satellite imagery.
This could also cause the center to "wobble" to the north a little I don't think there's a threat to Guam.

Your right............
Looking at a new loop about 3 hrs later shows the west track, at the time of my earlier loop the color sat. showed a big burst in core of system. That was probably the area that caused the wobble you pointed out. Would be nice if storm was a little closer to get nice radar signature without directly hitting them.
