Little too excited about the Carib

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Little too excited about the Carib

#1 Postby Derek Ortt » Mon May 17, 2004 6:31 pm

There is currently nothing to be excited about at all. Models want to spin something up, seems to remind me of 2 years ago under very similar conditions. I simply do not see the disturbance that they are developing. IMO, a false alarm at this time, but things could change

I remember that as well. All the models wanted to spin up a early storm. Nothing came of them. I would be bitting a little more if the shear was not so high.

You certainly could be right Derek, will have to just keep an eye down there for the time being. But, at least it is something to keep us Tropical Junkies with a fix until more fixes crank up!
