East coast rogue?
I know, I know, it's a JB ranting. But sure enough the models are starting to converge on a system forming off the NC (where else) coast and producing a rather nasty NorEaster for NE. It's one of those cases that the elements don't really exist completely yet more computer models are picking up on it. Canadian has migrated south from the NC/Va border to SC/NC border in the past 24. If this storm really does develop the location will have a large bearing on it's strength and nature. Also this year the sst's near the coast are toasty, unlike last year which had very cool sst's near the coast. May be our first warm core storm of the season (doubt it will be tropical, but not unheard of).
