Large ecomomy size..unfortunately it's to cheap to provide much convection north of the ITCZ for now..It looks like a CV season door opener.. 8-)

if it stays above that 10n lat line may have a good chance, otherwise most of the time they don't develop down below 10 n very often. It can happen but rare.

Awesome looking area ... however, the system is split in two pieces with a vorticity center (just West of the Cape Verde Islands) moving W or WNW while the convective area is well SW of that ...

Get ready, peoples... the season will begin soon enough ... just be a little more patient ...
