91L + front = Extratropical ?

Was wondering, even if 91L did get picked up the front, wouldn't it
become extratropical if it was riding along the front?

No, please reference Hurricane Hilda in 1964. It encountered a cold front in Oct and made a sharp right hand turn over Louisiana.....MGC
