*IMPORTANT QUESTION ABOUT WEST NC*!

#1 Postby Stormwinds » Mon Sep 06, 2004 1:44 pm

I Have A Question??? :?:
...I Live By The Tenn/NC Border..!
*What Should I Expect?*
Will All That Spinning Of Frances...Still Be Spinning?
~In Other Words, At What Point...(State) Does The Spinning..Stop?~
I Live Close To The Border, West Of Asheville, And Close By The Blue Ridge Parkway Entrance Of The Appalachins.
I'm In A Single Wide Trailer, On A Hill..Sort Of In The Open. I'm In Between 2 Counties..And The City Nearest Is Low Lying.
I Was Wondering About *WINDS*...Tornadoes, & Flooding! *Anyone Have Any Knowledge Of Western NC*? :?:
I'm New Here  ...And Am *MOVING* In October *BACK* To The Rockies...LOL
Thank You Everyone! :) *Jazzy* 'Stormwinds'

Any rains that fall too quickly in the mountains can lead to flash flooding. I am sure you're used to this since you're from the rockies though. The winds shouldn't be that strong, but elevation may increase them to probably 20-40mph. You may get heavier winds if you are under a strong thunderstorm though. But mostly just expect some sort of flooding if she does track over you. If she tracks slower then you will get more rain etc.
