And there is still uncertainty!!! Listen to this!

Local Met in Lafayette, LA..... Rob Perillo noted that this storm can still shift more west if the High builds in over Flordia and the second through doesn't come down soon enough. Basically that puts SE Louisiana as the landing point.

It's really scary, because we've been in the cone in SE Louisiana and out of the cone. Now we are back in the cone once again!

And there is still time for this storm to jog a little west or a little east and change the whole track again.

I really wish we could set this in stone! It's getting aggrivating for everyone on the gulf coast.

It seems like we said on Friday, let's wait to see what happens on Saturday.

Sunday we said let's wait to see what they say Monday.

Now it's Monday Night and they still don't know where this storm will hit!

Maybe tomorrow? I can only hope for all of our sake!

I sure do miss Dr. John Hope. His analysis always gave me comfort even when the cane was coming my way.<p> Prayers for all in its path.

I'm very concerned about Ivan hitting SE LA, especially New Orleans. If you look at a long IR loop, earlier today there was SW - NE shear in the gulf and that has totally disappeared. You can actually see the outflow from Ivan pushing into the central gulf coast (I assume what I'm seeing now is low clouds). At it's current trajectory, it's on a path straight into New Orleans and any shifts further west    .

I believe this storm will go east of NOLA but close enough that we will feel some effects.

To close to call... Get ready to get out of town. I will not base my life on a turn that close.
