The NHC is addicted to their GFDL, which is a tainted child of the GFS.

The GFDL is very good w/in 60 hours... and the GFS w/in 48.


By that assumption this storm should have already peeled out and gone north.. the GFDL had the huge turn off the coast 2 days ago. The GFS is JUST starting to get its act together with this storm. I think you will see a W and S shift with the landfall at 11am advisory. The only question is will the NHC buy into it. We are looking at landfall within 18 - 24 hours or so right now it may seem
