What are the chances of this....

Our little Carribean wave continues on its WNW track, the upper level low that just moved off of Cuba continues SW and the two merge. With the convection of our wave and the upper level low, is there a chance that the upper low could drop to the surface? Just asking because it looks like the two will intersect soon.
