Gusts to 30 mph. Steady rain alternated with unholy downpours. Interestingly only a little over 2 inches of rain so far this afternoon. I would have guessed more!

Winds are now blowing at 20 to 30mph with very heavy rain falling. Pressure has been holding at 1010 mb or 29.85 in. for the last 3 hours now.

Ok...the time is up, nothing happend thank god :) we are safe...but now the NWS/SPC has issued a tornado watch for my area...so...

stepped outside under my patio cover and noticed that the low level clouds are moving very rapidly southwest while the higher clouds are moving due west. pressure is down to 1008 mb, winds are still 20 to 30 mph.

It's very rainy here now, with occasional gusts of wind. I'd say they've been getting up to 20-25 here, about 12 miles inland from Myrtle Beach.

Hows the waccamaw River holding up??? Any flooding predicted?? I lost my house on that river on savanah Bluff Dr during Floyd....be safe!

78.4 95% hum. Very windy. The house is starting to sway a little. That means gusts around 35-40.
