•Quite often after a hurricane, power lines can be found lying in the street. It is not a good idea to pick up these power lines. Two words -- Ted Bundy.



It would be even smarter if the power company would simply pull the switch on the power before high winds reach the area. At least that's what they do here when a Hurricane is approaching.

Having said that, it is still dumb to pick up any lines whatsoever that may be on the ground after a storm, live or not.
