Disaster
"A bad day in Florida beats a good day everywhere else." As though a category 5 hurricane strikes everywhere in the world every day except in Florida, and including South Dakota. Sounds like Armageddon. I call that false advertising.

My favorite place in Florida is along the panhandle...where they filmed The Truman Show. That little town is just unbelievable. However, I would much rather live in California...central to northern Cali. My wife is from there. We go back a couple times a year and the weather is just unbeatable in the Bay area. (unbeatable as "nice")

Now... I haven't seen this ad, but I don't believe they are referring to hurricanes as a "bad day." Obviously, a hurricane is much worse than just a "bad day." I believe it goes back to the "a bad day of fishing beats a good day at work."

lol on the road construction state. Been there, done that. Every xmas at home in pgh. A wedding in two weeks there and I dread the trip. No longer take the turnpike because I know it will not be completed in my lifetime (been working on it all my life already and I'm 55 this year). Been in Nags Head for 32 yrs now, live 800 ft from ocean, fish for dolphin grouper, tuna, rock, you name it. Do have to put up with the occasional hurricane though. I do miss pgh, but just a little.
