how the heck do you decode these things? i know how to decode the vortex and the RECCO, but everything else is, like, forien to me...

I don't play the game but they look like Keno numbers to me. If you find out how to read them let me know.

I need to read up on it. Sort of like not knowing how to read a map and driving across the country. Not good....

question about hypsometric equation and extrapping sea level pressure from bulk recon data.

how do you figure the mean temperature for the layer? lets say you have 14 degrees at 700 mb in the eye, what would you use as a mean temperature? follow a dry adiabat down to ~850?
