That weakness is gonna be just enough to bring it north a few degrees before the ridge bridges the gap and shoots it toward south Florida. I'm goin with that for now...

JB commented about this at 5pm. He thinks it will not recurve and will be an issue to the SE U.S. and the GOM during the week of the 19th.

It needs to either go slightly further south or north because it looks like it will cut straight WNW over land the entire time.
