This season is not a late starter...we are already ahead of most seasons in mid-June by having had a storm already...the tropics are typically quiet right now...but it has not been a quiet season climatologically speaking so far....no need to be looking to other 'late starter' years to make the case this season could still pack a punch!!!

No true its not a late starter but all I'm saying is Arthur was a very weak tropical storm, when I talk about late starting I mean with regards to the main meat of the season getting going.

Your right though we are above average right now.
