Daddy...my heavenly father...
I'm a little frightened right now...not so much for myself but for my kids and my mom. Lord, the winds are starting to howl and the rain in beginning to blow...thank you for your steady hand on us. I again lift up all of those that are, even right now, near the eyewall of this storm. Many are in great peril and I pray your hand of protection on them at this very minute. Surround them with your love and mercy and give them all a sense of peace in the midst of the storm. Let them cry out to you, lean on you and place their trust in you. God, you say in your Word that you can work your will and your plan in all of life's circumstances...please let it be so in the aftermath of this hurricane. In Jesus Name...Amen
