Or the NHC was just waiting for him to say that the NHC was not wasting their time on this disturbance to declare it an Invest ;)

Stewart will not be denied, bones is just a superlative meme for him :P In all seriousness, on the off chance this does fester and meander NE, best to hedge against a quick spinup. Wouldn't be the first time (or 10) that we've seen this in the GOM along the coastline.

Right and the surface pressure at Buoy 42002 is down to 29.81,
maybe at 8PM.
