The 06 GFS has a strong storm moving through Florida Keys and then...moving NNE impacting Florida from the South, then makes a second strong landfall in what looks like North Carolina

Doing fine Gusty. its just been real slow this hurricane season. thats why I stopped posting, but as you see now we have SOMETHING to watch! :D

I'm pretty sure the actual wave axis is a bit behind that area of convection, although I'm basing that more on extrapolation from yesterday than on anything I see in the sat pictures this morning.

I can't find the center of the wave mostly off the coast. The next one inland has a spin and center but is too high in latitude to be the one the models are showing.

is there much of impact that TD 2 may have on this new wave coming off africa .......slightly upwelled waters? interaction with circulation..........also i wonder where the heck the wave is...... it's not the thing sanibel mentioned still inland with a higher latitude is it?
