clfenwi, any particular reason why the 5min updates show different wind speeds, or are they in a different format?
The one in between the last two showed winds (at least the same column as winds) of 003-004 for all of the data there.

I'm not quite sure what you are referring to, but you may be seeing observations from another plane flying out there (with obs tagged AF306 WXWXA ). That plane is either on a training mission or is in transit to another base.

For all their readings at low altitude, wind only varied from 177 to 90 degrees, all between E and S. Top wind speed 24kts. No cyclone there. Some pretty high dewpoints between 17.5 and 18.5 at 60W.

I dropped these into a database using Excel, so I could sort them various ways. The first 2 columns I added for time of observation set and set number. The column headings won't parse correctly here, some I left blank. If anyone wants it all, from obs#30-42, let me know.
