Where will Alex form?

Right now I am thinking off the southeastern U.S. coast, north of the Bahamas.

Mid to late May, Caribbean Sea, reaches moderate-high end tropical storm strength and causes many to begin wondering how vicious this hurricane season will be :D

A weak May spin up off the SE US coast, as is tradition.

Northwestern Caribbean May 29-31 time frame, moves into eastern Gulf.

It's to be taken for a grain of salt at this point, but if some recent GFS runs are to be believed, WCAR in mid-May could be the answer to your question.

Edit: or maybe not...maybe the SE US coast sometime next week could be it
