When will the EPAC get its next retired NS?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

When will the EPAC get its next retired NS?

#1 Postby Category5Kaiju » Mon Oct 03, 2022 6:04 pm

Let's put it this way: the last time this happened was Patricia back in 2015. Ever since then, no EPAC names have gotten retired. When is your wild guess as to when the EPAC will feature a storm worthy of retirement?

Unless explicitly stated, all information covered in my posts is based on my opinions and observations. Please refer to a professional meteorologist or an accredited weather research agency otherwise, especially if serious decisions must be made in the event of a potentially life-threatening tropical storm or hurricane.

Winter 2020-2021 :cold:

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Winter posts are focused mainly for Oklahoma & Texas.

Take any of my forecasts with a grain of salt, refer to the NWS, SPC, and NHC for official information

Not necessarily given Willa and Lane weren’t retired.

Until a storm break some records or the dead poll reaches at least 50 in Mexico and that's not even been the case for all the storms in the past, so it can past many years before another name gets retired
