Wave #4 has been introduced at 12:05 UTC on 5/26/23.

A new tropical wave has been analyzed in this map, with axis along
15W between 02N-12N. At this time, scattered moderate convection
prevails within this wave mainly E of 20W.


Waves 1-2-3.

An eastern Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis along 26W from
12N southward, moving westward at around 10 to 15 kt. Scattered
showers are noted from 02N to 10N between 22W and 32W.

A central Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis along 43W from
12N southward, moving westward at 10 to 15 kt. Scattered showers
are noted along the wave's axis.

A tropical wave extends its axis along 57W from 12N southward
into Suriname, and moving westward at 10 to 15 kt. Scattered
moderate convection is present from 07N to 12N between 49W and
57W.

Man these waves are coming out of the woodshed. the AEJ is POWERFUL this year.

A far eastern Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis near 20W
from 12N southward, moving westward around 10 kt. Scattered
showers are noted from 03N to 07N between 19W and 25W.

A central Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis near 33W from
11N southward, moving westward around 15 kt. Scattered moderate
convection is noted from 05N to 08N between 31W and 38W.

A western Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis near 48W from
12N southward, moving westward around 10 kt. Scattered moderate
convection is present S of 08N between 44W and 52W.

Another tropical wave extends its axis along 61W at 13N southward
across the Venezuela-Guyana border, moving westward at 5 to 10
kt. No significant convection is noted with this wave at this
time

An eastern Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis near 24W from
12N southward, moving westward at 10 kt. No significant
convection is present near this feature at this time.

A central Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis near 38W from
12N southward, moving westward around 10 kt. Scattered moderate convection
is noted from 04N to 13N between 32W and 45W.

Another central Atlantic tropical wave extends its axis near 52W
from 12N southward, moving westward around 10 kt. Scattered
showers are noted from 07N to 10N between 50W and 54W.

A SE Caribbean tropical wave extends its axis near 64W from 14N
southward into eastern Venezuela, moving westward at 5 to 10 kt.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are occurring near
the Venezuela coast.

The TWD of 12:05 UTC did not appear, but here is the text of all 5 waves at 18:05 UTC on 5/29/23.

An Atlantic Ocean is along 16W/17W, from 11N
southward, moving westward 10 knots. Precipitation:
widely scattered moderate to isolated strong is
between 10W and 20W.

An Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is along 30W/31W, from
12N southward, moving westward from 10 knots to 15 knots.
Precipitation: widely scattered moderate to isolated
strong is between 20W and the 30W/31W tropical wave.

An Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is along 43W, from 11N
southward, moving westward 10 knots. Precipitation:
widely scattered moderate to isolated strong is between
the 30W/31W tropical and the 43W tropical wave.

An Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is along 56W/57W, from
11N southward, moving westward 10 knots. Precipitation:
widely scattered moderate to isolated strong is
between the 43W tropical and the 56W/57W tropical wave.

A Caribbean Sea tropical wave is along 68W/69W, from
14N southward, moving westward 10 knots. Precipitation:
isolated moderate to locally strong is from 15N southward
between 64W and 71W.

A Caribbean Sea tropical wave is along 64W/65W, from 14N
southward, moving westward from 5 knots to 10 knots,
through eastern Venezuela. Precipitation: isolated moderate
to locally strong is from 16N southward between 62W and 70W.

Waves #1 thru #5 at 12:05 UTC on 5/30/23.

An eastern Atlantic tropical wave extends along 21W, from 11N to
03N, moving west at 15 knots. Scattered moderate convection is
observed from 03N to 08N between 18W and 25W.

An eastern Atlantic tropical wave extends along 33/34W, from 11N
to 01N, moving west at 10 knots. Scattered moderate convection is
observed from 02N to 09N, between 27W and 36W.

A central Atlantic tropical wave extends along 46/47W, from 11N
to 01N, moving west at 10 knots. Scattered moderate isolated
strong convection is noted from 08N to 11N between 43W and 49W.

A weak, western Atlantic tropical wave extends along 60W, from
11N to 01N, moving west at 10 knots. Isolated to scattered
moderate convection is noted from 01N to 09N between 55W and 62W.

A Caribbean Sea tropical wave extends along 72/73W, from 13N to
03N, moving west at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate isolated strong
convection is observed over western Venezuela and eastern
Colombia near the wave axis from 07N to 11N.

Two waves were taken out. Waves at 12:05 UTC on 5/31/23.

A tropical wave has been added to the analysis over West Africa
along 12W from 14N southward to the equator, moving W at 15 to 20
kt. Numerous moderate scattered strong convection is noted ahead
of the wave axis from 03N to 13N between the wave axis and 25W.

The tropical wave that had been analyzed along 22W at 31/0000 UTC
has been removed from the analysis.

A central Atlantic tropical wave extends along 41W from 14N
southward, moving W at 15 kt. Scattered moderate convection is
observed from 06.5N to 09N between 33W and 45W.

Another central Atlantic tropical wave extends along 52W from 11N
southward, moving W at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate convection is
noted from 06N to 11N between 47W and 54W.

The tropical wave that was analyzed along 62/63W at 31/0000 UTC
has been removed from the analysis.

A Caribbean Sea tropical wave extends along 76/77W from 16N
southward, moving W at 10 kt. Isolated thunderstorms are observed
near and within 150 nm W of the wave axis, mainly south of 12N.

It will decrese the convection as it moves west but for now, looks pretty.

Waves 3-4-6 at 12:05 UTC on 6/1/23.

An eastern Atlantic tropical wave extends along 22W from 13N to
03N, moving W at 15 kt. Scattered moderate isolated strong
convection trails the wave axis from 02.5N to 06.5N, east of 19W
to 06W.

A central Atlantic tropical wave extends along 48W from 15N to
04N, moving west at 15 kt. Scattered moderate isolated strong
convection is observed within 240 nm W and 120 nm E of the wave
axis from 06N to 10N.

A tropical wave along 59W from 18N to 09N is approaching the
Lesser Antilles, moving W at 10 kt. Isolated moderate convection
is noted from 10N to 15N between 55W and 60W.

13N to 02N, moving W at 10 to 15 kt. Isolated moderate convection
is observed from 04N to 09N between 27W and 32W.

The axis of a central Atlantic tropical wave is near 51W from 16N
to 04N, moving W at 10 kt. Scattered moderate convection is noted
from 07N to 10N between 50W and 53W.

The axis of an eastern Caribbean tropical wave is near 64W from
07N to 18N, moving W at 10 kt. No significant convection is
occurring.

from 07N to 12N between 50W and 56W, and inland over S French
Guiana and N Suriname.

Wave #7 has been introduced at 18:00 UTC on 6/3/23. Edit: Text of Wave #7:

A tropical wave was added to the 1800 UTC map along 13W south of
11N. Scattered moderate to isolated strong convection is noted
ahead of the wave axis from 03N to 08N between 13N and 19W.
Tropical wave diagnostics confirmed the presence of the wave as
well as the Hovmoller Diagram.

The axis of an Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is near 17W, from 12N
southward, moving westward 10 knots. Scattered moderate convection
is noted from 05N to 10N E of 20W to the coast of Africa.

The axis of an Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is near 45W, from 12N
southward, moving westward at 10 knots to 15 knots. Scattered
moderate convection is near the wave axis.

The axis of an Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is near 59W, from 12N
southward, moving westward at 5 knots to 10 knots. Isolated
showers are in the vicinity of the wave axis.

The axis of an Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is near 52W, from 14N
southward, moving west from 10 knots to 15 knots. There is limited
deep convection in the vicinity of the tropical wave.

The axis of a Caribbean Sea tropical wave is near 65W, from 14N
southward, moving westward from 5 knots to 10 knots. There is
limited deep convection in the vicinity of the tropical wave.

southward, moving westward at 15 to 20 knots. Isolated convection
is noted from 04N to 08N between 38W and 42W.

The axis of a Caribbean Sea tropical wave is near 62W, from 14N
southward, moving westward at 10 to 15 knots. Isolated showers
are within 60 nm of the wave axis from 10N to 13N.

The axis of a Caribbean Sea tropical wave is near 73W, from 14N
southward, moving westward at 10 knots. Isolated showers are near
the wave axis from 11N to 13N.

southward, moving westward at 10 knots to 15 knots. There is
limited convection in the vicinity of this tropical wave.

The axis of an Atlantic Ocean tropical wave is near 48W, from 13N
southward, moving westward at 15 knots. Scattered moderate
isolated strong convection is noted from 04N to 08N between 45W
and 50W.

The axis of a Caribbean Sea tropical wave is near 67W, from 14N
southward, moving westward at 10 to 15 knots. There is limited
convection near the wave axis.

The axis of a Caribbean Sea tropical wave is near 78W, from 15N
southward, moving westward at 10 knots. Scattered moderate
convection is in the vicinity of the wave axis.
