It also shows the vorticity tracking into the BOC and then moving NW into Texas. That feels eerily familiar.

GFS has been showing for a few runs now this system developing and moving into Central America completing the crossover into the EPAC. Also shows some of the vorticity making its way into the BOC but with not much ensemble support that scenario is rather unlikely at the moment. Certainly something to keep an eye on it though.
