The last frame at 11:45 UTC if I see it right shows some dip WSW but that may be a wobble that normally strong canes do but more frames are needed to see if it is a wobble or jog.
Wobble or jog to WSW????

I've been expecting a wsw jog due to how far north Isabel got before the ridge moved in. Keep a close eye on this, it may get back under 20n.

As of 8:30am Eastern time, it looks pretty much due west to me, I'd say 270-275. I don't see any southward motion yet, though as you say it's a bit hard to tell because of the cloud cover.Aquawind wrote:Could be and it would be no great surprise, but with the Eye partialy obscured with cloud cover it's very hard to tell with the visable loop. Either way this kind of wobble is pretty normal with intense canes as you know Luis.

Yes the last frame at 12:15 UTC is on a west course but with those wobbles that are normal.
