Two consistent GFS runs in the row!

Both the 00Z GFS and the 06Z GFS hit the mid-Atlantic region hard with Isabel. Looks like a "nightmare" senario for the Delmarva. Even with some weakening of the winds a disasterous amount of rain would likely fall.

The models for right now are starting to come closer together. lets see what happens when the data from the GIV flight is ingested into the models this week-end:):)

At that point the models will become more consistent instead of outrageous changes as was seen with GFS earlier.

I agree that things will change. But nobody living near the coast from Florida up to Cape Cod should let their guard down.

NO one along the East coast should take their eyes of this baby. The good thing she is moving slowly so there IS time to prepare just in case.
