this storm is a bust...a Category 5 bust....

never regained its strength....

my windows have been open all night so i can catch a nice breeze

hope this isnt the start of a trend for our winter storms

Ugh... sorry you were disappointed but I'm sure there's a lot of people on this board and in the storm that will heartily disagree with your calling this storm a "bust"...

I'm glad you have nice weather
I'm glad I have nice weather
but some people right now who have lost roofs or who have been flooded out or who have no power or who have had their houses hit by falling trees, like ncweatherwizard, would not call Isabela a bust!
we need to have proper respect for a thankfully weakened Isabel who still caused havoc.

It depends on where you are if its a bust...................Yea for se/VA and NC its not a bust...............However farther up it is..................Just depends on what you expected from the storm and what you get if its a bust or not!

The storm isn't in your backyard just yet, now is it?

Were that it not even more of a "bust".

I'm very very happy it didn't make landfall as a category 5 or category 4.

I've never been in anything stronger than a tropical storm (that was strong enough for me), but I did survive an F-4 tornado as a kid. Ever been in a devastated area? Ever see much of your world reduced to a pile of rubble? Have any childhood memories of searching through a list of the dead looking for the names of your friends? That's what I'd consider a real bust of a storm.

I'm sure there are a whole lot of people who disagree with you right now. Ya know, there's always going to be a worse storm but why minimize what the people are going through who are affected by Isabel? geesh

JI:

You posted the same thread on WWB before the board crashed. Where are you from? Why is the storm a bust? I have spoken to friends in SE VA, and they said quote " It was ugly for about 5 hours". Please expalins why you are upset.

What is a bigger bust is that the ever pathetic WWBB is down again. We just cannot seem to get people to give up on that substandard site and come here instead to a site that is dependable and the operators have integrity to maintain the site and respond to e-mails.

Did they kick you off of GOPBI, newbie? Tell the families who lost loved ones that this was a bust and then apply for membership to another board.

Ji...please show a little compassion for those having to endure the hurricane. That was not a very nice post and I don't think those going through the hurricane think it wasn't much.

He is from Herndon VA which is about 20 miles west of DC. The worst of the storm hasn't even struck this region N VA, MD yet, so the best is yet to come, dude.
