The area in the caribbean is getting better organized.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
530 PM EDT FRI SEP 26 2003

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS ISSUING ADVISORIES ON HURRICANE
JUAN LOCATED ABOUT 155 MILES EAST-NORTHEAST OF BERMUDA...AND ON
TROPICAL DEPRESSION SIXTEEN LOCATED ABOUT 1290 MILES EAST OF THE
LESSER ANTILLES.

SATELLITE IMAGERY INDICATES THAT THE AREA OF DISTURBED WEATHER IN
THE NORTHWESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA IS SLOWLY BECOMING BETTER ORGANIZED.
THERE IS EVIDENCE OF A CIRCULATION IN THE MIDDLE LEVELS OF THE
ATMOSPHERE...BUT THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF A SURFACE CIRCULATION AT
THIS TIME. CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR TROPICAL CYCLONE
FORMATION AS THE SYSTEM MOVES SLOWLY TOWARD THE NORTHWEST AND...IF
NECESSARY...A RECONNAISSANCE PLANE WILL INVESTIGATE THE AREA ON
SATURDAY.

A DISORGANIZED AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORM EXTENDING FROM
THE EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO...ACROSS THE FLORIDA PENSISULA INTO THE
ADJACENT ATLANTIC IS ASSOCIATED WITH A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE.
THIS ACTIVITY IS FORECAST TO MOVE TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AND
DEVELOPMENT...IF ANY...WILL BE SLOW TO OCCUR.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
SATURDAY.
