Fellow Storm 2k'ers... I am just in a good mood so I thought I'd pass it along lol

In the mean time.. We wait and see what recon will find in the Caribbean as the potential Florida rain maker slowly approaches the area.

Will we have TD 17 by dinner time..? we shall see

I agree Deena.. It'll be just a rainmaker for us or you guys.. If it gains TS status before it were to arrive.. It'd probably only be in the 40-45 mph range.

No big worries.. Just rain... unless you live in an area that floods easily..

My neighborhood floods all the time but my house was built later than the rest so it is built way up.. During Hurricane Irene in 1999 my neighbors had a lake in their backyard.. complete with row boat & everything! It tooks weeks for the water levels to go down & the bugs & frogs were horrid!

Sounds like Irene gave you guys a lot of trouble. At least your house is built further up. My only big worry here is winds.. Which is why I was so anxious with Isabel. I'm up on the 3rd story of an apartment building so it can get pretty windy up here even during typical thunderstorms..

Deena... I don't blame you.. It's funny how we get called people I disagree with cause we think Florida till the storm is north of us or even north of the state. lol.. Oh well..
