Yeah Scott very early to work on the models as you always do very good but the weather doesn't have a calender and also never say never in the tropics. :D

History has been made......1st Tropical Storm ever recorded in April. Thanks
bringing the model map back for another season. During Izzy and Lili I lived by that map.

Update and thanks :)

#12 Postby Scott_inVA » Wed Apr 23, 2003 5:51 pm

Wed night Update.

Updated the map for 5PM Wed. Ana is a goner but she's good practice so we'll do a couple more and wait for Bill. LOL!

Also, thanks for kind comments. My wife (and radio station GM) cannot understand why so much time is devoted during canes to doing maps. During Lili it was damn near a part-time job, but WREL tracks stats and I read all the wx email. I'm extremely grateful these maps help in some small way. KatDaddy...comments such as yours make all the time especially worthwhile.

I recently showed our web site stats to a beer ad agency talking w/us about radio advertising. The female buyer asked "what is with these hits on a model map page. What kind of models do you show on your site?". After a ROFLMAO I told her we're just a bunch a hurricane junkies. She had no comment after that. LOL!

I'll show these nice messages to my bosses...maybe I'll get a raise. Ouch! Bad pun.

Thanks from FREEZE WARNING country!
