The last advisory will be written at 11 PM but already the fate of ana is there.

But it was fun to watch it because of the history that is was being the first tropical storm ever in april. When will be the next time we in our lifetime will see an event like this well maybe never.

Yes, it was great while it lasted. It bumped up the board activity and gave us "newbies" a taste of what the tropical season will be like.

You nailed it very well Garrett about the board very active at this time but if it was active now you can imagine when the season is underway and there is a cane out there. :D

Just because the SAB has Ana as extratropical doesn't mean that the NHC will issue the final advisory at 5PM. SAB classfied Ana as tropical 12 hours before the NHC. But chances are that they will issue the final advisory either at 5PM or 11PM

mf the NHC always are conservative when classifications go one way or another in this case to say the last advisory so this is not new from them but if you look at the pics you will see a teared apart system with the center not very visible and it is now with dry and cold air aloft so rip to her. :D

Agree with Cyc on this one, Ana has lost practically all of its tropical characteristics. All the convection once associated with Ana is becoming a part of a baraclonic zone and frontal low. A little surprised the NHC kept it a TS at 5 PM. :? Come 11 PM I expect they'll finish Ana off.
