BASED ON 1800 UTC SURFACE ANALYSIS AND SATELLITE IMAGERY THROUGH
2315 UTC.

SPECIAL FEATURES...
TROPICAL STORM ANA IS CENTERED NEAR 32.1N 50.1W AT 23/2100 UTC
MOVING ENE AT 9 KT. ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1001
MB. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WIND SPEED IS 35 KT GUSTS TO 45 KT. SEE
LATEST NHC ADVISORY UNDER AWIPS/WMO HEADERS MIATCMAT1/ WTNT21
KNHC FOR MORE DETAILS. AFTER LOSING MOST OF THE ASSOCIATED
CONVECTION EARLIER THIS MORNING...A NEW BURST OF CONVECTION
FORMED NE OF ANA THIS AFTERNOON. HOWEVER...THIS APPEARS TO BE
ANA'S LAST GASP AS THE NEW CONVECTION IS CURRENTLY BEING SHEARED
OFF AND CLOUD TOP TEMPERATURES ARE WARMING. ANA WILL LIKELY LOSE
ITS TROPICAL CHARACTERISTICS DURING THE NEXT 24 HOURS AS IT
TRACKS OVER PROGRESSIVELY COOLER SST. RAPIDLY WEAKENING AREA OF
SCATTERED MODERATE CONVECTION FROM 32N-37N BETWEEN 44W-48W.
