Good looking convection with it as it rolls west into the atlantic but of course I know that it wont develop neverless always is interesting to see if this is the first wave this year emerging africa and this may be the start of the train of waves later on but from 100 waves that on average travel from east to west only a handfull of them develop.

The ITCZ is positioning more north near 10n and that is a normal position by this time of the year maybe a tad more north than normal.

Rob I edited the title to include the word possible because really no tropical wave haved been analized in the charts of the TPC and you are correct about that but this morning at the discussion they said (convection possibly associated to tropical wave) but we will see if it is a wave or not but the important thing is that the train of waves will start to roll out of the station in the next few weeks.
