Let's all keep in mind that they issue Invests as a request for more information from ships and planes in the area. Many times they don't develop into tropical systems. :-)

Well, looking at the latest sat. images, it looks like something may be forming. It's losing a lot of convection for now, but we'll see what happens tomorrow afternoon.

If the low persists over the next 24 hours, we may issue a disturbance statement. The NHC is now mentioning the low in the TWO.

The chances for this to develop into a tropical depression are today more higher than yesterday as shear is not prominent and the convection is consolidating in an area not like the pop-corn type clusters that were there yesterday and also the low pressure is deepening now down to 1008 mbs.

The pacific tropical weather outlook indicates that this area is in a favorable area and conditions are favorable so we may see the first system in the EPAC and it's name will be Andres.

There is a second disturbance east of the one that has the invest that may develop and has a surface low so maybe later today another invest is up for this new area south-southeast of Acapulco.

There definitely looks to be some potential in the next 48 to 60 hours.

As I said this morning there was the chance that a new invest would be up and there it is east of the other disturbance. This new invest has some chance to develop into a tropical depression but only if convection stats to consolidate in an area as a blob and not as it is now like pop-corn clusters but time will tell if this one develops or not although the models are somewhat favorable to develop this system.
