A tropical disturbance is centered over Jamaica right now. Very heavy rains with life threatening flash floods are expected over Jamaica tonight because these showers and heavy storms will not move quickly. Several inches of rain could result in life threatening flash floods and mudslides. However no tropical formation is expected with southwest winds aloft. Just a complex of very heavy showers and storms with blinding rains in this region.
