The quality is excellent compared to the NOAA radar.http://www.srh.noaa.gov/radar/loop/DS.p38cr/si.kamx.shtml

These images can't be animated for display on the web at this time. I own this software (as well as the Level II program with higher res data) and it is a great piece of software.

There is a way to animate, but it requires another application and some work, plus a site for me to host it, resources I don't currently have. sorry :(

The center has just popped on the loops; indicated by red circle:

If that's where the Center is, Katrina is almost due East of Miami. She would have to take quite a jog West, to make landfall around the Ft Lauderdale area.

Anyone agree?

I agree with you Ron on the placement, according to radar it looks like it's moving at about 280 degrees, almost straight toward the Middle of Broward. I'll place another shot with a center fix in a bit.

What's the font you're using Skysummit? I like it! In fact, I've been looking for a font like that.

Man, I wish my graphics card would let me smooth the radar!

Does the nice backgrounds come with the smoothing effect?
