Ok...I am just curious if there has ever been a stsorm that went into texas byway of Florida or the Keys...seems like most of those hit Louisiana eastward, while more of texas storms come from the carribeean via mexico, of the BOC. If you find some please post tracks...
Meanwhile, local met discusion out of mobile mentions a trough on wednesday that may create a weakness and cause a turn north(as it is exiting the Keys area)...so while I know most of the guidance holds ridge over the Northern gulf, folks up here should really pay attention to this too...at least until the storms is better organized and the models get a better handle on things in a couple days.
