While I agree that systems shouldn't be called by names that they aren't yet officially named and perhaps it's not a good idea to use official maps either...
Are you always this rude to people, Derek? Just about every non-forecast post I've seen of yours is rude to somebody. I hope you aren't like this in person.
And if you enjoy being so rude, learning to spell might help in getting your attitude across to people. It's "ridiculous."

You just did the same thing on your own website...of course, you said that you'd "change it back to TD 18" if NHC didn't upgrade it. Just something I noticed...It seems like "what's good for the goose" is not good for the gander, unless the gander also proclaims to be some kind of expert.
