Are people in Florida up for a gathering in May

I tried this several times and it never works ,but it's still January and I'd like to meet some of the Florida members of the board I think it would be great. We did it back in Nov of 2004 and 9 members showed up including our famous Mike Watkins. I'm up for anything because I know its tough especially with kids and I'm sure we can work something out. Please pm me with ideas.

What about a destination in Central Florida since members on the board are from the panhandle like Ivanhater to KeyWest were weatherwindow and recurve are from.

I figured I would start mid January so I would give people more than enough time for this gathering. I figured Central Florida meeting place due to members in the Keys to the panhandle. All Central Florida members please pm me some ideas for a meeting place since all as I know is Disney World up there. I wish we all had storm 2k shirts to wear so when we finally meet we'll recognize each other.

Thanks to vbhoutex their is a storm2k store which we can buy shirts so its easier for us to see each other when we decide what were doing. Feederband suggested Seaworld trip which I think is a really good idea. If Seaworld is like Disney World than the tickets can be expensive. I was just up there Jan 8th and a 1 day ticket was $60 per adult. I don't know if people would be willing to pay that much for a gathering, but will see. keep the ideas coming.

Hey I got seaworld passes. You can pay admission for one day and get in the rest of the year free, its called a fun card. If you just go one more time its worth it, we have gotten the "fun card" for the past 5 years now. I would love to come see my fellow S2K friends.

And SeaWorld is a great place to do it, fun and laid back, and they sell beer. :wink:

I also suggested that if we could firm up a date we should try to get there the nite before and get some hotel rooms booked ...

Ok here is the hotel it is 1 mile from sea world and they shuttle back and forth from seaworld It is $52.00 a night at the lowest rate ...I booked mine on orbitz.com .Also this is at todays pricing..The later you book the price will go up..
