UPDATED Talkin Tropics Thursday - 9PM EDT Updated Guest List
After a longer than I had hoped for absense...Talkin Tropics will be back this Thursday starting at 9PM EDT. This will be the season-opening edition that would have run last week. Included will be:
Our interview wtih Dr Jack Beven from the National Hurricane Center...
Preparation ideas that you may not have thought of...
We will discuss Barry (was it tropical for more than 5 mins? Inquiring minds want to know)...
Updated hurricane forecasts from CSU and NOAA
Is it time to revise the Saffir Simpson scale?
We'll talk w/ Mark Sudduth from hurricanetrack.com
Plus your questions...
Also...on a completely unrelated note...I am looking for some production help. Specifically...the show needs a producer as we have been without one for over a year. If you have any interest in producing an audio broadcast (if you like working with audio, gathering content and booking guests)...although for free...but also to gain some work experience...please send me an IM.
See you Thursday night!

I was able to confirm that Greg Greaves...our generator expert from last year...will also be joining us tomorrow night for a live discussion on how to safely and effectively handle your generator...or what you need in a generator if you don't already have one.
You don't want to miss that.
Done booking guests for the opening show now...see you tomorrow night.

It will not load by itself on the wmv. I had to go here http://tools.veloc-it.com/tabid/58/grm2 ... fault.aspx and download that file to allow windows media player to recognize it. Then you can click the lighting bolt looking icon next to the wmv choice on the ipr site and it will work.Cyclenall wrote:I still can't get on a stream. 3 of them don't work (Real, WMP, and Amp). One error is it can't connect to the server and the other just says "file not found".

That requires me to get into a whole other mess. When I ran the program, it asked to install .NET framework. I'm not going there.
I'm not sure why this has been happening over the past few months since it worked perfectly last year.
