Just filled up with 93 octane in Boca Raton, Fl. $3.07. Was $2.91 last Friday at the same Mobil station. I asked the guy if he had alot of complaints about the jacked up prices, he said 'yeah, but it will be worse tomorrow when the price goes up.'

Me:

I was afraid to ask what it would be tomorrow.........

Prices averaged around $3.12 in Greenfield, MA where I live. Glad I got gas yesterday. Not glad that I have to start commuting to school next week.

Where the whole country goes on strike and does go anywhere for day. Get the stations and oil companies, I know that is impossible but I am just spouting because these people are gouging. Most haven't even recieved a new load of fuel yet.

As long as they have these idiots lining up around the block because they "heard" that there was going to be a shortage, they'll KEEP raising prices! It's called supply and demand.

Two days ago, gas was $2.47 here for regular unleaded. Today I passed the gas stations and they were all $3.19. My son's girlfriend said she talked to a station owner this morning, and he said it would be $4.60 by next Monday. I've already cut back drastically in my driving, and we mostly drive my husband's car (rather than my van). It's eating him up to drive to work and back.
