Gulfport, MS Airport insurance increase

#1 Postby MGC » Sun Aug 13, 2006 6:52 pm

From the Sun Herald, Sunday August 12, 2006, page A-9

"Insurance goes sky-high for airport"

Gulfport's Airport Commission saw its wind coverage premium increase 284% from $127,024 last year to $488,927 this coming year.

On a related note, I paid my insurance Friday. While talking to my agent, he advised me to get a second job when I renew next year. "Next year the new rates approved by the insurance commission goes into effect this October and we expect wind pool rates to increase considerably."....MGC

They already received an increase from our fine insurance commissioner. He needs to be thrown out of office. Wind Pool rates will increase to 90%.

Elected officials must steal as much money as possible as quickly as possible because they might not get reelected.......MGC
