I agree...both! He just makes me melt, and he has a huge heart too. Great looks, great music, great heart. What's not to love? :)

I've had this pic for a few years...figured I'd post it in here.

What was more is when I was watching this on the news, you could tell the man was really struck by the situation. It wasn't the same as when others have come down here just to get their mugs on TV.

Actually Linda, on the news this morning they said it was for both Katrina and Rita victims, which was why he chose the location he did - Terrebonne Parish.

And the article mentions Beaumont, Texas to Mobile, Alabama.

yeah...what's up with that? That's why I haven't posted the pic before. It should read "Hot Pants of New Orleans" Image

Btw, sunny...I'm not gonna post mounds of articles in here, but if you did a search, you'd see that he does give a lot. I don't think he does it to get his mug on TV either. For one, you can just see it in him when he talks (when he was on Oprah is just one example) and secondly, you have to search to find most of it. Obviously, someone's gonna report it somewhere, but most of his giving isn't blasted across the TV's.

Oh I know Kel. You'll find a lot of people gave who didn't seek publicity on it. Nicolas Cage for one. He also gave over $1M to us. John Goodman. U2 has been a driving force here trying to help the musical community get back on it's feet (I have a little insider info on U2 that I cannot divulge right now, but WOW!!!). So yeah, there are a lot of celebrities who have given out of the goodness of their heart. And it is very much appreciated.

I did not even know about it until I read it in the paper. Less than 5 miles from my house! My mom said the general public was not allowed to go anyway. Only a select few.

Bon Jovi is on the Opera show now for Habitat for Humanity. In Houma, Louisiana! Can't believe he was less than 10 minutes from my house and I did not get to meet him!
