"conflict of interest"

#1 Postby Dionne » Thu Sep 14, 2006 6:17 pm

Earlier today I lost alot of work. It was Dept of Labor money. This is work in a declared disaster county in southern Mississippi. A series of errors at the facility forced several contractors to exit.

I lost the work because of conflict of interest protests.

My wife is the purchasing agent. We are locals. The campus is 3 minutes away. My wife did her intern thing at this location.

It's just plain stoopid how funding is delegated. This project I'm whining about does not even have an active superintendent.

No accountability and alot of favoritism.

We've got alot of dummies that have come down here to be experts.

I no longer trust them.

I agree it is a sham. You almost have to be politically connected to get a decent contract. They find any reason they can to disqualify you.....MGC
