My experience with this hurricane was as bad or worse than Hugo was because I was almost 4 weeks without power and water.Also I was in a condo where the building moved pretty good as the hurricane force winds battered it.Also the duration of the whole effects were around 7 hours as the eye crossed slowly thru the island.

I'm so glad that this day we had only beautiful weather! Glad you made it through Georges okay Luis, as so much damage was done :(

I still say Georges is such an underrated storm in regards to hurricane history.

When you think about it, Jamaica, the Caymans, and the extreme southern Windward Islands were the only parts of the Caribbean to escape Georges' wrath.

I'll never forget watching him trek through the Caribbean.
